To celebrate the pure magic that tacos offer to the world, the San Diego Reader is pleased to invite you to the beautiful land of tacos referred to as 'Reader Tacotopia 2022'! The largest UNLIMITED taco event in San Diego on May 7, 2022. This event will once again take place in beautiful Golden Hill Park. At Tacotopia, we take advantage of our SoCal surroundings by gathering the very best taco vendors all in one place for your gastronomic pleasure. We combed the region, searching far and wide from TJ to LA, only extending invites to the true elite. From established taco chains to mom and pop taco stands and trucks, Tacotopia has a diverse selection for every kind of taco aficionado. Hope you brought an extra pair of socks because these tacos are gonna knock that first pair right off! At the end of the day, attendees will ultimately decide who will win the Best Taco Award at Tacotopia 2022! The unlimited taco tasting, full-sized pours and margaritas available at the bar, live music, Lucha Libre Wrestling, lawn games and San Diego sun makes this our most popular event every year.
While you eat your weight in tacos and bask in the San Diego sunshine, there will be Lucha Libre Wrestling, live music, a bar with beer, margaritas, and more! Proceeds from the bar will benefit The Greater Golden Hill Community Development Corporation. Choose from two ticket options:
General Admission Ticket: Valid from 1PM-4PM. Includes tacos from all vendors while supplies last from 1pm-4pm. Enjoy live music, Lucha Libre Wresting, live art demonstrations and beer & margaritas from the bar. Discounted pre-sale tickets available for a limited time. These tickets are likely to sell out. Does not include drink tickets!
VIP Ticket: Valid from 12pm-4pm (early admittance). VIP hour from 12pm-1pm! Includes 1 drink ticket, tacos from all vendors from 12pm-4pm while supplies last. Enjoy live music, Lucha Libre Wresting, live art demonstrations and beer & margaritas from the bar. Discounted pre-sale tickets available for a limited time. These tickets are likely to sell out.
The party will be happening, rain or shine. Sorry, but infants, children, and pets will not be permitted. No refunds will be issued. Remember, no smoking in the park. Samples are all while supplies last!

As a voluntary attendee at the event, you understand, acknowledge, and agree to the following: 1. Organizers cannot guarantee that you or anyone will not become infected with COVID-19. Furthermore, attending could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19 and/or spreading COVID-19 to others, including persons at high risk of complications. 2. By purchasing tickets and entering the event, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19. You voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks, as well as unknown risks, related to COVID-19 and accept sole responsibility for any personal injury, illness, disability, death, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind in connection therewith, that you may experience or incur in connection with your attendance at or participation in the event. On your behalf, and on behalf of your guests, and on behalf of your and your guests’ heirs, assigns, representatives, next of kin, and any other persons who might make a claim on your or their behalf, you hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless SD Reader, LLC, the venue, vendors, their related and affiliate companies, and each of their respective owners, contractors, partners, sponsors, officers, directors, employees, agents, attorneys, artists, representatives, and other affiliated persons (the "Released Parties"), of and from the Claims. You understand and agree that this waiver and release of liability includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the Released Parties, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after your participation in the event. 3. If you have purchased tickets on behalf of another guest, you further represent and warrant that you have disclosed this Agreement to each of your guests; that each of your guests is over the age of 21 and competent to agree to this Agreement and the waiver and release of liability contained therein; and that each of your guests understands and agrees to this Agreement. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless all Released Parties from and against any Claims brought by or on behalf of any of your guests. 4. You warrant that you are (as of the date of purchase and dates of the event) physically able to participate in the event and in any activity associated with it, including travel to and from the event, and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. By attending Reader Tacotopia, you represent and warrant that you have not knowingly been in contact with COVID-19 and are not sick or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 which includes fever, headache, chills, diarrhea, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell and general malaise. 5. You agree to comply with any and all rules, regulations, terms and conditions of the event, including, but not limited to, those set forth herein, as well as any updated and new regulations that may be released by the CDC and any state or local health departments between the date of ticket purchase and the actual event. Organizers assume the right to cancel the tickets and ban any participation during the event for those who refuse to abide by event rules, including any reckless actions that may put themselves or any others in danger. 6. You intend that this waiver and release of liability shall be construed broadly to provide a waiver and release to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law. Should any part of this document be rendered or declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidation of such part or portion declared invalid should not invalidate the remaining portions thereof, and they shall remain in full force and effect. BY PURCHASING A TICKET AND ATTENDING THE EVENT, YOU CERTIFY THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS AND ARE DOING SO KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT OR DURESS. IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED TICKETS ON BEHALF OF ANOTHER GUEST, YOU FURTHER REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU HAVE DISCLOSED THIS AGREEMENT TO YOUR GUEST AND OBTAINED THEIR CONSENT TO THIS AGREEMENT.
